Vertical Mill Groove (VMG) in Original and Aggressive

The Original pattern is tight and has a firm yet soft and very responsive feel; certainly softer than a flat face. The Aggressive pattern is even softer, as there is less surface area contacting the ball and more “bite” with the sharper grooves.  The face is still responsive though as it is still made of the same solid steel head and face, and because the pattern varies as you go out from center, so it provides valuable feedback as you play.
